Fire Damage – Kingsport Home

Fire damage at this Kingsport home was caused by the chimney flue being blocked when a fire was started in the fireplace. The before photo shows the considerable amount of soot and smoke damage associated with this loss event. The content of the room and adjoining rooms were affected greatly by the soot and smoke so it was decided that we would inventory and pack out the contents of the home to our warehouse for cleaning and restoration. Once the contents were removed, we began cleaning the affected rooms with SERVPRO proven materials and procedures. The lingering odor was given particular attention before the final touch of deodorizing the rooms. When completed we returned the contents to a very happy customer.
