Water Damage – Kingsport Hotel

Commercial wate3r damage developed at this Kingsport hotel when the automatic sprinkler system accidentally activated saturating the carpeting on this floor of the hotel. The before photo shows the standing water and sections of drywall that had become saturated. The hotel maintenance staff managed to shut off the water supply line to the sprinkler system, but they did not have the equipment to clean up the water. SERVPRO o Kingsport / Bristol could be called 24/7 to provide emergency services. We would bring in trailer mounted water extraction equipment to suction up the standing water. We would facilitate repairs of the sprinkler system by communicating with the sprinkler system company that serviced the system for the hotel. Our industry certified technicians would set up industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to help dry the flooring and walls.
