Condo Flooding in a Mail Room
The torrential rain rushed in through the door of this condo mail room in Bristol bringing along a muddy mess. Fortunately, the concrete finished floor, vinyl base molding, contained most of the dirty, standing water, with minimal absorption into the wall material. The first photo shows the wicked water damaging effect to the corner of the wall by the mailboxes. We rapidly removed the pooling water on the hard surfaced floor and cleaned up the mud and debris. Our SERVPRO techs then removed small portions of the drywall, dried out the exposed areas before rebuilding these little areas. We disinfected and sprayed an antifungal agent along with deodorizing the mailroom to finish the job "Like it never even happened."
