In preparation for the demolition, our SERVPRO technicians sealed off the kitchen and dining area from the living room with poly sheeting. This reduced to near zero any circulation of dust or debris. Our goal is to minimize the inconvenience and difficulties of our customer during this stage of the service. We removed the dining room furniture along with the base cabinets and began to tear up the tile flooring. We worked into the night and removed all the water damaged materials and cleaned up the rubble. Our Applied Structural Drying Technicians then strategically placed air movers and dehumidifiers to capture the lingering moisture in the affected areas. After several days we documented that the RH and moisture levels were again within the norm and presented our results to the insurance adjuster.
